Happy Birthday, Little Buddy!
Little Buddy is one year old today! We took him to the doctor today, and he has gone from winning the "fat baby" award to rather skinny (27th percentile). Apparently this is a breastfed baby phenomenon, totally normal, and nothing to worry about. I thought I would have him weaned by now, but ironically, I'm too lazy. I am a big fan of breastfeeding, but I'm also a big fan of weaning. I'll do it someday. Here are some new pictures of my handsome little man.

Oh my goodness, these are so, sooooo precious. I really like the first two, especially the second featuring those two teeth. I just cannot believe our Little Buddy is one!
As long as he's weaned before he can say "Hey mom I need me some boob" at church or something, it's all good, right?!! He's such a handsome little man!

So cute! I'm a little sad that his chubs are leaving and that most breastfed babies have that "issue." Maybe one day Ty and Little Buddy will compete for "smallest baby" award. ;)
Little buddy's cousin is front runner for smallest baby award he was always 5th percentile. He is now 7 and wrestles at 44lbs. Hard to find other 7 year old that light.

i nursed mine til 15 months, i can relate to the feeling lazy thing. nursing is just sooo easy and soooo good for them. you'll get around to it. :)
