Out Came the Sun...

and dried up all the rain. Finally. Metereologists are always comparing days, like "It hasn't been this cold since 1942" or "It hasn't rained this much since 1927." I think there hasn't been a day with temperature more perfect since 1999. I don't actually know if that's true, but today has to be in my Top 10 list. Another pefect day was my wedding day. That was in 1999. I was in love, skinny, tan, and wearing a really expensive dress. But the weather was perfect too. I have traded in 3 of those attributes for 3 really great children. Fair trade. So today we are STILL eating turkey and cheese, but at least we got to eat it outside on a perfect day. And I'm still in love.
